Notification for the post of GDS BPM, Peddayellampalli BO A/W Nallacheruvu SO

NOTIFICATION

                       Applications in the enclosed prescribed proforma are invited from eligible candidates for selection and appointment to the post of GDS Branch Post Master at Peddayellampalli BO A/W Nallacheruvu SO under Dharmavaram HO.

2.                 The present monthly TRCA (Time Related Continuity Allowance) admissible for the post is Rs.3660-70-5760+DA+OMA (Subject to variation).

3.               The vacancy is reserved to “SC”  

4.               The last date for receipt of application in the office of the undersigned is 20.05.2016.

5.           The application complete in all aspects should be sent by REGISTERED POST/SPEED POST only, by name to “SRI B. MOHAMMAD ISMAIL, Superintendent of Post Offices, HINDUPUR  division, HINDUPUR-515 201”,  in a SEALED COVER.  It should be noted on the top of the cover as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF “GDS BPM,PEDDAYELLAMPALLI BO A/W NALLACHERUVU SO” failing which their applications will be rejected. Applications received through ORDINARY POST, COURIERS AND BY HAND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

6.          The result of the selection will be communicated to the candidate selected to the above mentioned post on the day of selection through Register Post.  The name of the candidate selected for the above mentioned post will be displayed on the notice board in the office of the undersigned on the day of finalization of selection.

7.       The following are the eligibility conditions for the post:-

a)   AGE: The applicant should have completed 18 years of age but should not have completed 30 years as on the date of notification. The maximum upper age that shall be relaxable is 03 years to those belonging to OBC categories and 05 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST.

b)   EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: The applicant should have passed SSC/Matriculation or equivalent. An attested copy of SSC/Matriculation Certificate should invariably be enclosed to the application.

          1. No weightage is given for any qualification higher than SSC/Matriculation.
          2. The candidates passed SSC examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally.
          3. The marks obtained in Second Language (Hindi etc.,) will not be taken into account.
          4. The candidate should possess computer knowledge and should produce a certificate showing that he or she had under gone at least 60 days of training in Computer course from a institute recognized by State or Central Government at the time of engagement.

          5. If a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class XII or higher educational qualification, the same will be accepted as recognized computer training and a separate certificate need not be furnished.  An attested copy of relevant certificate should be enclosed.

c).      RESIDENCE: The candidate selected for the post should reside in the station of the main post office by obtaining a suitable accommodation to locate the post office.

d)       INCOME & PROPERTY: The person applying for the post must have adequate means of livelihood to support himself and his family and will have to furnish prescribed Surety/Security.      

8.       No person holding an elective office will be considered for appointment to the Post.
9.       No person working as agent of Insurance/Finance companies will be considered for appointment.
10.   Copies of the following certificates duly attested should be submitted along with their application. Original certificates should not be sent. Application with incomplete information will be rejected straight away.
a.    Certificate regarding date of birth (SSC Certificate).
b.    Certificate regarding educational qualifications (attested copy of SSC/Matriculation with the marks obtained in the examination is a must)
  1. Caste Certificate issued by Tahasildar if reserved for a particular community viz SC/ST/OBC. For OBC, the certificate should be in the prescribed proforma enclosed.

  1. Employment certificate and letter of permission from the employer to apply for the GDS post (in case the applicant is a part time/full time employee of the state or central Government department/organization or Panchayat Raj Department). In case of VAOs, NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the competent Revenue Authority should be enclosed. If the applicant is already in GDS Service, he should submit his application through proper channel with permission letter of the competent authority.
e.    Required original certificates should be produced at the time of verification.
      
11.   Incomplete applications, applications not in the prescribed form and applications received after the prescribed last date for receipt will not be considered under any circumstances.
12.  Only Selected Candidate will be intimated about the selection. No correspondence will be entertained with the other candidates.
13.  Any type of canvassing will be a disqualification and their applications will be rejected straight away.
14.  The proforma application is enclosed.  The application should be sent in the prescribed proforma only.
15.   The date of Scrutiny of applications by the selection committee will be displayed in the notice board of O/o Supdt of Post Offices, Hindupur Dn and in www.Hindupurpostal division.blogspot.in. Interested candidates may attend Divisional office, Hindupur on the day of Scrutiny.
